"In 1994, the Boundary Commission suggested the restoration of historic Lancashire and Yorkshire for ceremonial purposes independent of the County Council, but this plan never reached fulfilment"
Yes, in Cumbria! As far as I can tell, it never suggested that the historic border between Lancashire and Yorkshire be restored elsewhere. If anyone can supply additional information, I shall stand corrected. Morwen - Talk 17:47, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
The political makeup listed in the article does not seem to be correct. I have altered the make-up to correspond with the history as listed on the BBC News website. Previously, years where elections were held and the control of the council changed hands were not listed and the controlling party seemed to be wrong for much of the 1980s and early 1990s Danfolkestone (talk) 19:12, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
