Definition[edit]

I don't think that the kernel itself must be written in a high-level language to enter into this category. Examples are the Solo operating system and Oberon, with their kernels written in assembler. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.230.251.217 (talk) 04:38, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
