Content removed[edit]

I've removed a long diatribe of personal complaints which is persistently being added to this article.[1] The content fails to comply with most of our content policies, principally Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research, and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Notability[edit]

Please for gods sake dont add non-notable names to the list of 'Notable Alumni' -- ONLY add those that are reasonably notable and have a Wiki article/page of their own already thanks. This is Wikipedia and any non-encyclopedic or self-promotive material shouldnt be added here. I have again removed a long list of non notable people from the alumnis list--plese for Gods sake, DONT add thee names, as requested above. This is shameful and what will people think of Gallians? I have also removed a whole bunch of lies and mis statements made by someone, that are not at all objective and reflect v poorly indeed on our dear old Alma Mater's 'alumni'--what sort of people are being turned out now, who indulge in such cheap and trivial puffery and self-promotion? Alas. It seems that things at GG are going from bad to worse... At lewst, we should try just to stick to facts in this article. Notable Alumni[edit]

I added the Alumni Template to this article on 15 May, but no references or links have been added, and even more unreferenced names have been added since.

One month after the template was posted, all names, without either a link to their own Wikipedia article, or references showing they meet WP:BIO - (i.e. references giving significant coverage, in reliable sources that are independent of the subject) will be removed.

Please note that, currently, EVERY SINGLE NAME WILL BE REMOVED, as none of them are linked to their own article, and none have any references whatsoever. - Arjayay (talk) 18:04, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Several alumni already have their own articles, these have now been linked to, and their names kept on the list. All other names have been removed as WP:ALUMNI. Several names, e.g. Muhammad Ali might appear to have their own articles, but these were "false-links" to articles about someone else, who did not attend Lawrence College Ghora Gali.
Please only add names of people who already have their own article, and link to that article. If there is no article, please write the article first before adding the name to the list. - Arjayay (talk) 17:18, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
