Coordinate error[edit]

The following coordinate fixes are needed for 46° 5′ 29.02″ N, 16° 40′ 39.48″ E —109.165.145.85 (talk) 21:12, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed — But not with absolute certainty. Coordinates from Panoramio photos are scattered all over the area, both north and south of Lepavina village, and the satellite view on the Monastery's website indicates a position out in the middle of a field closer, but not close, to the pre-existing coordinates than to the new ones. Examination of photos and comparison to the low-res satellite images shows that the building layout at the new coords is closer than at the pre-existing coords and, more importantly, that the terrain (visable through Acme Mapper) shown in the photos is much more similar at this location than at the pre-existing one. I'm 99.99% sure this location is correct (but 100% sure that the pre-existing one was wrong).
