Misleading information in the infobox[edit]

The information regarding ideology in the infobox is misleading and inaccurate and I am therefore removing the reference to Eurosceptic. The current EU political stance of Libertas is one of more transparency in the EU institutions, and advocating closer connections between it and the people of Europe. The party is very much pro-European Union, it is just anti-Lisbon Treaty (advocating against one Treaty is hardly anti-EU). --MacTire02 (talk) 20:08, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sedition[edit]

The two clowns heading this criminal venture are being paid directly by the Pentagon to spread sedition in Ireland. They are literally in the employ of a foreign government. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.16.199.13 (talk) 12:59, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Defunct?[edit]

Is Libertas Ireland defunct now? According to here and here, Ganley has applied to the CRO to have the Libertas Party and the Libertas Foundation struck off voluntarily. However the Libertas Institute will remain active as a think tank. Presumably, Libertas Ireland will be removed from the Register of Political Parties in due course. I'll answer my own question, yes they are! They were removed from the Register back in November 2009, see here. Snappy (talk) 17:20, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
