Untitled[edit]

This article says that in an interview, Lillian recalled being put into lifeboat 15 through a window, but I always thought that this boat was loaded from the boat deck. I think Boat 15 was on the side of the ship with the open promenade, so it couldn't have been through a window. Boat 4, the one usually associated with the Asplunds, was the only one loaded from a window. Morhange 13:25, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is quite a bit of confusion surrounding Boat 15. For one thing, ET says there were only 43 people in 15, which means that we don't even know all the people who were in the boat as it has been described as "full" in many locations. The fact that many passengers were male, including many 3rd Class, indicates that it was almost certainly full. As for where it was loaded, Washington Dodge (who was in Boat 13) recalled Boat 15 being loaded from the Boat Deck but Lillian was reported "dropped into [Boat 15]" from the Promenade deck. More info in this thread on the ET forums. -Etoile 23:41, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Age[edit]

Ms. Asplund's age at death is stated as 99, after a short calculation I think it's 98. I want to change it, but can't find the proper way. Robin.lemstra (talk) 13:25, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She lived October 21, 1906 – May 6, 2006. That's obviously MORE than 99 years. :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.46.161.188 (talk) 20:16, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
