Between 1954 and 1957 James Woodford made 4 murals showing the Elements

- Air (Male angel with aircraft and bird)

- Fire (Fire-fighting figure astride phoenix)

- Earth (Sower of seed on tree background with sheep and pig at feet)

- Water (Bell-chiming figure with fish below and seagulls to sides) The bell represents the Lutine Bell owned by Lloyds

They were unveiled on the exterior of Lloyds building on Billiter Steet/ Lime Street in 1957.

Following the demolition of the building they were put into storage, but in 2009 they were re-established on Lime Street, next to the Willis building.
