Most OFFICIAL Baltimore Orioles stats do not include the stats of the St Louis Browns. For example: this season the team lauded the fact that Erik Bedard set a new record for strikeouts in a season because he passed the record of the Orioles- from 1954-present.

I know this comment is from 16 years ago.

However, this page is a list of all of the records for the franchise, which includes all of the past team names and locations. The standards the Orioles hold for their own reporting of records is not relevant to the purpose of this list. This is not an official Baltimore Oriole list by the organization.

Additionally, the main source for this list, baseball-reference, counts all players who played for any version of the franchise, including brewers and Browns. Gabulousity (talk) 03:07, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
