He is one of the writers for Happy tree frineds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Pontac he has his acount on thr forum and is answering questions from the fans, like Warren Graff.

Can you get another reference besides the forum? If so post it here and I'll check it out. After which we will discuss about adding the new characters to the article.

Vandalism problem (solved)

Someone is doing vandalism in this article. Here are examples:

1. Lumpy Is A light blue male Moose
2. Petunia Is A blue female Skunk
3. Handy Is A orange male Beaver
4. Sniffles is A blue-gray Male Anteater
5. Pop Is A very light brown male Bear
6. Cub Is A very young light brown male Bear
7. Russell is a pastel green male Pirate Chipmunk
8. Mime is A purple Deer

This is not a big thing, but it's unacceptable. The one who did this has done it on purpose. And earlier, I saw that Russell's name was changed for Rascal. We must find who did this, I'm not sure he's finished with this article.

Flaky's gender

In the article, it says that Flaky was hermaphrodite, but I'm a bit comfused about it. Flaky seems more to be female, with her voice, behavior and movements. She scream like a girl does. And if Disco Bear ignores her when he tries to seduce Giggles and Petunia, it's possibly becase of her shyness or he just didn't see her when he pushes her. Maybe if Flaky would hang out with Giggles and Petunia, he would try to seduce her too. A porcupine can't realy be hermaphrodite anyway. Do you agree with me ? If not, tell me why.

Did Toothy kill Splendid?

I want to know if Toothy killed Splendid in Class Act(He causes the school to explode).

Well even if Toothy,the bucktoothed beaver we all have to love, did in fact start the fire

it cannot be said for sure if he killed Splendid or not. Even though there are a lot of random

deaths in Happy Tree Friends this one kind of strays from the random acts of blood and gore.

Although he did gather everyone close to the school before it blew up.This topic is arguable

so I'll just let it be for now. But since Splendid is indestructible which was shown in the HTF Shorts,

"Wrath of Con", there is a bigger chance that Splendid did not in fact die.

Lumpy's nostrils

It says Lumpy is the only character to have a regular nose as opposed to having a heart for a nose. What about Sniffles? Oh, and I would re-check Handy's kill count. Only 2!? I can think of three people Handy has killed (Although two of which were quite indirect) right off the bat! One more thing, It says Slendid the Squirrel was only killed once, yet on his death count, it shows he had died twice. Please consider all of these changes.

animal species kinda "too" specific

I kinda generalized the animal species of Happy Tree Friends character more. The creators only say that Cuddles is a bunny/rabbit and Giggles is a chipmunk, but NOT specifically Eastern Cottontail and Eastern Chipmunk. Also, Disco Bear, Pop, and Cub could be Grizzly Bears instead of Brown Bears, since Grizzly Bears have the same fur color as brown bears. The Cat featured in Tongue Twister Trouble was said to have died in Blind Date, that cat is completely different, but you see Mittens/Honey in Who's To Flame, so you can definitely verify what i'm saying here.

Main Characters Merging

Guys, i've had a talk with one of the guys involved with duscussion about this merge, LtPowers, and he says that there was an agreement that all that data had no point, it was just too much for character bios (i don't know exactly how).
But if you want to find a way around it, check out my and LtPowers talk pages and think it through, because we can't pull off an undo, it will be deleted again.

Merge/Split

There seems to be some consternation over the merging of the individual character articles into this one. Oddly enough, no one now objecting bothered to comment on the discussion which was prominently linked at the top of every affected page. I point out that the original article split, which occurred in October, was performed without any discussion at all; no attempt at garnering a consensus was made.

Furthermore, I point out that once excessive plot summary (which includes kill/death counts, and pretty much anything else except voice actors and episode appearances) is removed from the character articles, there would be nothing left. We'd be left with the one or two lines currently present here in the merged article.

To those who object to the removal of information, you have two real choices. First, you could find reliable, third-party sources for the information you wish to include. Second, you could create a Happy Tree Friends wiki on Wikia and put the information there instead.

To be honest, I wasn't willing to restore the main characters' articles until the images got deleted, they all deserve a main image. The porpose of restoring the articles is first of all, to illustrate each characters. One of the reasons that the characters were merged in a list was because there where way too much imformations. The content in my articles where the same as in the list exept that there is a table and a Trivia section. This makes a very good deal, there wouldn't be too much imformations, each main character would have their own images, the list of characters wouldn't have too many images and this would allow a few other characters to have an images too, though, we don't need to upload any more images. And I would add that the tables would be useful for reader who just want to make a quick check on basic informations such as a characters' gender and species. Images like the one on the main one in the list are perfect for recurring characters, not for main characters. Compare my version of a main character article and the one of wikia, as an example check Cuddles, which one is bigger mine, or Wikia's? What do you think

Well thanks to one of the helpful admins of Wikipedia, it seems my request for the semi-lock has finally been fulfilled. Its for 1 month and ends may 20th, 2008. After this expires I hope not to expect anymore vandalism from unregestered users. Flakys hair loss Disease?

Hey if anyone knows if Flaky does have a disease which removes her hair (in this case her eyelashes) please add it in. I saw it there a few days ago but it seems like its been deleted. And I'm unsure if this disease exist. Thankyou!

Has Sniffles ever survived?

Admittedly I haven't seen every single episode, but from the numerous ones I have seen, it seems like Sniffles has never survived a single one. Hi Machchunk. To tell you the truth, there has been a couple of episodes where sniffles made guest appearences and survived. But they were only episodes where he had been shown for about a minute or two. Although, I will check for you. If I find anything from the internet or tv series, I will add it immediately. Slow down on Images

Because of this I'd like everyone to restrain from uploading anymore pictures on the characters article. You can change or replace existing images. But please don't post any new images on this article. Only Until I can remove this thing from the page.

Copyrighted images

In order to reduce the excessive number of copyrighted images, it would be best to remove some of the less necessary ones, such as these (listed by their caption):

• "Russell" - he is already shown in the first picture on the page
• "Cro-marmot seen with no ice" - he never appears like this on the show, and his appearance can easily be made out within the ice
• "The Cow" - a cartoon cow does not contribute significantly to the reader's understanding of the Happy Tree Friends characters

The "Cro-Marmot seen with no ice" and "the cow" images can be removed. I can understand that those two don't seem to fit in.

The individual characters presently lack the coverage by outside sources, general consensus within the Wikipedia community, and encyclopedic content that are necessary for individual articles. Well, since all 20 main characters are illustrated on the main image, we now can put a few images for the most primary characters, such as Cuddles, Giggles, Toothy and Lumpy. Only a few of the main characters would have an image, and the rest would be still be illustrated on the main image, is that a deal ?

To comply with fair use, we need to be somewhat picky about what we include. In this case, if we are to use more pictures, they ought to illustrate more about the characters than what they look like. For example, if we were to post an image of Flippy, it would have to bring something new to the table, like a comparison of his normal and "flipped" looks, or what he looks like with Sneaky and Mouse Ka-boom in "Ka-Pow!" --UberScienceNerd _{Talk Contributions} 21:01, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Article splitting

Per WP:Notability, article subjects need reliable third-party sources that provide significant coverage of the subjects to be considered notable. The individual HTF character articles were merged here after extensive discussion because no one has yet found any reliable third-party sources that confer notability upon individual characters. The characters as a group may be notable, but there is no evidence that they are notable individually.

Please do not split this article out into individual character articles unless you have verifiable, reliable, third-party sources that provide significant coverage of an individual character. Even if you do have such sources, discuss them here first. Thank you.

I think thier should be some pics next to each character (like 1 each) same with a few of the other characters and enemies.

Flaky's lack of eyelashes

The article says Flaky was intended to be female (which she is now anyway) but lacked features like eyelashes. Major cut to Lumpy

In this edit I severely chopped the section on Lumpy for a number of reasons: The page has been flagged for fancruft maintenance since October 2015. There's simply too much unnecessary detail here, too much personal interpretation, too much vague nonsense about what fans think or suppose or assume, too much poorly-written content like "most people believed he dies, but he just gets harmed since his cut off hand seems to come to life and punch him, but not kill Lumpy." etc. It's garbage and it constitutes original research. Character sections should briefly describe the characters, while focusing more on real world information. How were the actors cast? Were the characters inspired by anyone in real life? Why were they designed the way they are? This is explained at MOS:TVCAST. Any interpretation of character behavior, metaphors, etc. need to come from reliable published sources. The remainder of the page needs the same level of cuts that were made in the linked edit. The previous detail is suitable for an indiscriminate fansite like Wikia, but not for a global encyclopedia. Flaky's species

The reason why I changed her species from hedgehog to porcupine is because of the following bio from the Collect-Them-All cards: "Wherever there's trouble, this dandruff-laden porcupine is sure to be far, far away."
