Name change needed[edit]

If this really is "a list of Native American leaders who participated in the Indian Wars which occurred throughout the early 17th century until the end of the 19th century" then the name of the list absolutely needs to be changed. List of Native American leaders of the 17th–19th century Indian wars is probably the most concise. So so this only include war leaders? Is it only United States? If Canada is included, then the name should be List of indigenous leaders of the 17th–19th century Indian wars in Canada and the United States. Why would war leaders, such as Chitto Harjo of the 20th century, not be included? I'll make the formal proposal that this be renamed List of Native American leaders of the Indian Wars, and leave out First Nations war leaders. -Uyvsdi (talk) 22:32, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Uyvsdi

As no one has objected to the renaming in the last twelve days, I'll move ahead with it. -20:31, 28 July 2012 (UTC)Uyvsdi
