Changing title[edit]

Why isn't this "List of ''famous'' Peruvians"? Surely there are many more Peruvians than that! --Dmcdevit 07:17, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Take a look at Category:Lists of people by nationality. This title is standard. Xezbeth 07:18, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)

Wow! But while practically it follows the standard, I still don't understand why. Aren't all of these lists of "famous [insert nationality here]s"? Is there a WP policy for this and what is the reasoning? The name simply doesn't seem to correspond to the content. What am I missing? --Dmcdevit 07:23, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, my two friends are peruvians, but they are not in the list! I would understand this if the list was about famous Peruvians. --Gonzakun

Removing names[edit]

I removed most names from 'famous scientists' that were added with nos purpose or merit --isradelacon
