TKE is basically done at RPI (on suspension until 2016 or something like that).
- Hmm.. seems your right, I removed. Feel free to be bold and fix any other things that need to be updated, etc, just make sure to specify why in the edit summary. Danski14(talk) 07:32, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have to disagree with this decision. TKE has an active alumni organization, including a LinkedIn group with 179 members (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=90184). The Dean of Students Office continued to list it as a legitimate yet suspended fraternity as late as mid-2008. It is not unheard of for a fraternity to "come back" from a long suspension with active alumni. I would rather see it continue to be listed, though marked as suspended. Fair use rationale for Image:PhiMuDeltaCrest.jpg
Image:PhiMuDeltaCrest.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Potential revisions based on DOSO accreditation list
Was attempting to find an authoritative list of the Greek organizations today and the best I found was a DOSO accreditation list from mid-2008, now added to the external links. Based on that list, there are several organizations listed in the current version of this page that are not referenced in the DOSO document:
- Alpha Sigma Epsilon
- Lambda Upsilon Psi
- Xi Rho Chi
Additionally, Alpha Phi Omega was not listed, though as it is not characterised as a "fraternity" by the Institute (rather, as a service organization) it would not be. Unless anyone objects, I will remove references to the three organizations listed above some time next week. MikeBz (talk) 07:59, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
