References[edit]

This article requires English-language references. The article has only one reference link, and that points to a French-language site. Because this is the English Wikipedia, English-language sources should be used in preference to non-English language sources of equal caliber and content. Onthegogo (talk) 19:20, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please provide a link to the Wikipedia policy requiring English-language references. Tomas e (talk) 22:15, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Relevant Wikipolicy may be found at Wikipedia:Verifiability#Non-English sources Onthegogo (talk) 23:21, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That policy says there is a preference for English language sources but doesn't explicitly forbid the use of foreign language source. If the best quality, relevant source currently available is non-English then it is perfectly fine to use until a better quality English language one is found. When that English language source is found then the non-English one can be removed but until then the non-English link is still a valid reference that should stay in the article per WP:V.
