Copyright issues[edit]
Since both new entries and song fragments have been added after the initial clean version in an intertwined way, I've restored now all intermediate versions to assure attribution of valid additions under the assumption that any possible copyright problems have been addressed on the editorial level.--Tikiwont (talk) 09:53, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Zum Geburtstag viel Glück[edit]
This German song ("At the birthday, much happiness") is simultaneously based on Happy Birthday and not based on Happy Birthday. Varlaam (talk) 22:18, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Dangerous link![edit]

Why was s/he born so beautiful ...?[edit]
This song seems to have an international presence. Singing it straight after "Happy Birthday to You" is described as one of the cliches that Australians most love to hate; but it's apparently popular in the UK and the USA as well. As well as "Happy Birthday"[edit]
As well as "Happy Birthday to you" is not the song "For he's a jolly good fellow" often sang at birthdays? Should this song get mentioned in the article? ACEOREVIVED (talk) 16:57, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
About Venezuela[edit]
In Venezuela both songs are used starting first because "Ay que noche tan preciosa" and then the Spanish translation of "Happy Birthday" Legarad (talk) 18:49, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
