In the data for populated localities on the Statistics Greenland site, Kangilinnguit is listed as a Station, not a settlement, yet it is included in the Wikipedia cities & towns list. Pituffik also has a substantial population and is also listed on the Statistics Greenland site as a Station, but it is not included in the Wikipedia cities & towns list - in fact, it's listed as an abandoned settlement. Does anybody know why this has been done this way? Should Kangilinnguit be removed from the cities & towns list? Stamptrader (talk) 12:34, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
From this list it appears that every settlement has discontinued using its former Danish name in favor of an Inuit name. Is there any place still using its Danish name? 126.96.36.199 (talk) 20:43, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
