Dispute over meaning of "countries"[edit]

This is the version that I preferred. (see also the differences with the current version) — Instantnood 02:20 Mar 2 2005 (UTC)

Hong Kong[edit]

This article lists Hong Kong as being sovereign and only bordering China. Given that Hong Kong lists China as the sovereign state, it seems sensible to remove Hong Kong from this article. MinerRo (talk) 01:33, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I concur. Removed Macau as well. Andro611 (talk) 23:10, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Example in first paragraph no longer relevant[edit]

The introduction claims that Denmark is one of the countries on the list and that it only has a maritime border with Canada. This was true until June 14, 2022, when Canada and Denmark resolved their long-standing border dispute over Hans Island. I’d remove the example myself, but I don’t know what would be the best thing to replace it with. 2600:4040:7B56:8200:1189:DCE9:E7C0:86E6 (talk) 02:42, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
