New article[edit]

This list was split off the main flood article, mainly because it was taking up a good deal of bulk within that article. Thegreatdr 00:54, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Accurate?[edit]

One of Canada's most devastating floods occurred in southern Alberta in June 2005. The flooding affected many major metropolitan areas including Calgary. 72 deaths resulted from the three-week flood.

I dont totally remember this but I don't think the flood was that bad. --Kuzwa 16:43, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Revert to April[edit]

Looks to me that user 82.10.238.102 made a long series of nonsense edits to this page that need to be reverted. An editor with more experience is required as I'm unsure how to handle this. --Pat (talk) 03:57, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Changes to article[edit]

Unless other editors disagree I would like to do the following to the article.

1. Put all floods into date order

2. Ensure all floods appear both in “By chronology” section and “By region”

3. Ask for reference for those floods without a link to another Wikipedia article on the flood

Let me know if you feel this would improve the article or not Jniech (talk) 14:46, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Possible new vandal 82.38.118.236 attacked this page[edit]

Could you please keep an eye on 82.38.118.236 as he has made an unneeded change (The UK is great! it said) that could be the start of a vandal attack. I have reverted it. I have messaged him to let him know that his actions were wrong. Hope you'll help! Ggoere (talk) 17:18, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

2010 floods[edit]

Is the sentence about the "ongoing" flood about the flooding now, that also hit Germany or is it the floods some weeks ago? SkySilver (talk) 22:52, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Something's wront[edit]

"Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, and Sabah suffered floods between December 2006 and January 2007. It killed hundreds and forced 100,000 people to be evacuated in Johor alone. Floods hit the country's capital Jakarta in January 2007, killing 80. It was the worst flood in Malaysia for over 100 years." The second part is missleading, it may seem that Jakarta is the capital of Malaysia, which it isn't, it's acutally in Indonesia. Drat70 (talk) 11:29, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
