List of Local Service Districts in New Brunswick → List of local service districts in New Brunswick – (over redirect) per WP:TITLEFORMAT. The term "local service district(s)" is not a proper noun. It is also "local service district(s)" according to New Brunswick legislation. It should only be capitalized when it is part of the official legal name of the LSD, such as "Foo Local Service District" or "Local Service District of Foo". Cleanup required[edit]

This article is WP:TOOBIG, even for a list. It has been weighed down with significant granular details within the "Services" and "Notes" columns. The amount of details here are excessive and more appropriate for the individual articles for the LSDs themselves. Further, despite being within columns that are enabled for sorting, the details are so vast that sorting either ascending or descending does not provide any meaningful results. It is so bogged down that nothing happens when I click the "Former local service districts" or "Special service areas" links in the table of contents. The page does not jump to these sections like it should upon clicking these links.

Also, the first two columns are redundant. I get the intent, which is to enable proper sorting of their given/common/root names where their official legal names would otherwise prevent that from occurring. However there is a solution for that. Visit the table within the list section at List of municipal districts in Alberta. The code <span style="display:none">Acadia</span> enables "Acadia No. 34" to be sorted first, ahead of "Athabasca County", despite its official legal name being the "Municipal District (MD) of Acadia No. 34".

These changes are on my to-do list but I get distracted by other issues (like the election just passed). I will make the nowiki tag the first priority.

Excuse me while I blanch at the idea of editing, often creating, 315 articles, which would also involve killing some existing articles for service areas. Sounds good. There is no urgency and other off-wiki priorities persist too. Just noting it for now as I will likely swing back to do more myself when I have larger pockets of free time, and hope that those future efforts won't be viewed as controversial.

Not sure I understand the comments about the 315 articles, service areas and maps. If these are other things on your to do list with higher priority, by all means. Again, no urgency. Hwy43 (talk) 15:17, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SUPPORT, I believe instead of all the articles for the small communities, the articles should be moved (where possible) to their larger Local Service District as most of these small communities are really not notable. Hogie75 (talk) 22:11, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
