Use of infoboxes

[edit]

I think we shouldn't use infoboxes in this article. They make the article unwieldy. Everything in the infoboxes can be incorporated into the section if properly sourced (birth dates, positions etc).--Fogeltje (talk) 12:13, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I Think they're fine IF the section is long enough for it, like fords and smiths. Dr. Stantz (talk) 20:56, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Use of Rank

[edit]

Due to the ever changing of ranks in the show I vote to Go by name and have the rank mentioned in the info box and or article. I.e. Henderson went from Seaman to LtJg, or Picollo, who went from Seaman to Petty officer to Warrant officer. Dr. Stantz (talk) 20:56, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively you can mention the last rank they had on the show in the subtitle, Lt JG for Henderson and WO for Picollo. If that is done in a consistent manner, then I don't see a problem. The promotions can be addressed in the text. But either way is fine, as long as we keep it consistent.--Fogeltje (talk) 21:58, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brody's promise to his mother

[edit]

The article originally stated that he would ultimately unable to keep that promise. The story revolving around her has played it's course at any point since coming back in 2032. His mother could have been awakened and seen his mother. There is no evidence to support not keeping his promise nor to support keeping his promise. It shouldn't be included at all one way or another. --The Virginian (talk) 16:38, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images removed

[edit]

Fair use images have been removed from this article per policy and guideline. The indiscriminate use of per character images in lists such as this is not supported. See similar discussion at Talk:Supporting_Harry_Potter_characters#Overuse_of_fair_use_images and Talk:List_of_James_Bond_henchmen_in_Die_Another_Day#Fair_use_image_removal (and observe that fair use images remain removed or tightly limited on those two articles). --Hammersoft (talk) 13:57, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
