[Untitled][edit]

As Ethiopia is landlocked, I'm not sure the Cetacea section is accurate (unless there are freshwater Cetacea). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:45, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are (Platanista, Inia, Lipotes [make that a "was", sadly], Sotalia), but none in Africa I believe. The relevant IUCN accounts for those two species do list Ethiopia in the distributions, but both are actually exclusively marine and I think their presence is a holdover from before Eritrea became independent. I deleted the section until there is a conclusive citation in favor of their occurrence in Ethiopia. Ucucha 21:04, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Geographic distribution[edit]

It would be wonderful if there were notes on the geographic distribution of species. In terms of priority, first describe the distribution of those that are endangered (at least within Ethiopia). Second, describe the distribution of those that are limited to small areas. Pete unseth (talk) 22:11, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
