The Contagious[edit]

There Is A New Post Grunge Band Out and They Go By The Contagious. I Request That They Be Put In Post grunge article.

the letter G[edit]

yeah someone deleted all the bands under G, the only one i can remember is Gyroscope so someone will have to add then back on if you can remember them

Evanescence and Drowning Pool[edit]

I found it hard to believe that these two bands were really classified as post-grunge, and there weren't any sources saying that they were post-grunge, so I removed the two. This list needs refining[edit]

The term post-grunge I would assume means it sounds like grunge to a degree. bands like Vertical Horizons don't fit the label. Infact most don't. Like noted above, STP is missing. This list needs to be redone. Devilmanozzy (talk) 18:52, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

could you please take candlebox out. and maybe bush. bush and candlebox were around before post-grunge even was coined or invented. Stone Temple Pilots[edit]

Their article doesn't say their post grunge ans neither does any of their album articles. Plus they were part of the actual grunge scene and honestly don't sound like post-grunge. They're also found on the actual grunge band list. There's also no citation even considering them as post-grunge. Consistency with band pages[edit]

There are (were) multiple bands on this list which are not identified as post-grunge at all on the band's Wikipedia page. There are no reliable sources, either here or on the band's main page, identifying them as post-grunge. The list includes:

Updated again, removed Avril Lavigne, Filter, Veruca Salt. Searched for any reliable sources that support them as "primarily" post-grunge, and I could not. The Avril Lavigne page describes only her early work as "influenced by" post-grunge.
