Rework[edit]

I've updated this page quite a bit. It had been marked as needing citations for many years so I tracked down as many references as I could find and put them in. I also added/removed entries according to those sources, although I mostly kept entries where I couldn't find proof one way or the other.

Then, I reorganized the entries by region and prefecture, following the example of the UK page as a good way of organizing such a long list, and changed the columnization code to be flexible for different display sizes.

I tried to transfer other people's edits to my working copy while I was doing all this so if anyone has made recent changes they should still be here.Metadox (talk) 06:23, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
