Am I a Sinner[edit]

Why this song has been deleted from the list? It leaked many years ago and there's no doubt that it's authentic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.25.64.46 (talk) 14:01, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:LEAK, it is not encyclopedic to promote leaked content which is sometimes bootlegged, unsourced, demoed or sometimes even reference tracks. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 23:08, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My Love Was Always There[edit]

This short song was actually written by Britney herself and produced by the same people who did Enrique Iglesias's 2002 Escape album. But as Britney passed on ever releasing this song, the music was later used by Enrique for his "Maybe" or some other song on his 2002 album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.40.229.224 (talk) 16:35, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unreleased Song Revisions[edit]

There are a few inaccurate references and notes that should be added or changed. "All that She Wants" is also co-written by Britney and based on an article she wrote on her website. It's produced by JR Rotem and failed to make "Blackout". "Love 2 Love U" is actually titled "Just Let Me Go" and failed to be included on "Blackout". "Am I A Sinner" is produced by Riprock N Alex G and meant for "Britney". The original version of "And then We Kiss" leaked and should be added, the released version was a remix. "Can Caper" is not an unreleased song, it's just a registered title for an alternate version of one of her Pepsi commercials and should be removed. "Dangerous" was intended for "Circus". The duet version of "Dramatic" should be removed from the song notes as it's not real and irrelevant. The note about the collection of songs being titled Britmas should also be removed as it's silly and irrelevant. A remix of "Guilty" previously leaked but the original has not. "It's Britney Spears Baby" is not an unreleased song but an interlude used on her first tour and should be removed. The writer of "Love" is Sean Garrett and the writers of "Luv the Hurt Away" are Full Force. It should also be noted that "Luv the Hurt Away" features R&B group Full Force. "Mad Love" samples "Darkest Night" not 'Light' and was intended for "Britney". "Ouch", "Peep Show", "Take Off" and "Like I'm Fallin" were all recorded for "In the Zone" and "Pleasure You" was intended for "Femme Fatale". "Rebellion" is produced by Jeff Dandurand, Scott Storch and Britney. "She'll Never Be Me" was intended for "Britney". "What Ya Sippin On" is not an alternative title for "Sippin On", the original title was "Tell Me What You're Sippin' On" before it was changed. "Take the Bait" was intended for "Circus". Should note that "Untitled Lullabye" is also referred to as "Baby Boy". "Wonderland" was intended for "In the Zone". Leaked alternate versions such as the alternate version of "Early Mornin" and remix of "(I Got That) Boom Boom" that was intended as the single version should also be listed if possible. All information can be referenced or sourced from the Unreleased Britney site. Unreleased Britney 11:00, 03 March 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by User5482 (talkcontribs)

No solid sources sorry as I don't have time to search through databases but just put these here for the record.

And Then We Kiss[edit]

Shouldn't we add And Then We Kiss to the list? The original version leaked some days ago onto the internet and the producer confirmed that it's real http://www.muumuse.com/2011/09/britney-spears-and-then-we-kiss-original-version-leaks.html/ --Amare135 (talk) 19:03, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Except And Then We Kiss is not an unreleased song? The "original version" is an early form of the song. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:11, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's not though? The released version is just a remix. --Amare135 (talk) 19:55, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Untouchable[edit]

Hey, should we add this song? I just found it today. The writers are: KENNY PRATT, LASHAWN DANIELS, BRITNEY SPEARS, FREDDIE JERKINS, RODNEY JERKINS. I found it here. It's a searchable database, if you search Britney Spears as writer you will find it. - Sauloviegas (talk) 19:59, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find it on that link? Xwomanizerx (talk) 21:00, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I can see it:

  • Writer(s): KENNY PRATT, LASHAWN DANIELS, RODNEY JERKINS, BRITNEY SPEARS, FREDDIE JERKINS
  • HFA Song Code: U1657N

I don't know if we should include it. Is the link reliable? Novice7 (talk) 04:21, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is reliable. Madonna's unreleased songs Wiki uses that database as a source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.8.30.18 (talk) 14:58, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The song should be included, as it was recorded for IN THE ZONE album and is officially registered in the Library of Congress.

So, I figured out this song should be added to the list. 1. It is listed in the Library of Congress (many of Madonna unreleased songs are also referenced from there) 2. It is listed in Harry Fox Songfile catalogue (U1657N), along with many other unreleased Britney Spears tracks. 3. Point 1 and 2 sound reasonable enough to add it.

In The Zone rejects[edit]

The songs Take Off, Money Love And Happiness and Like I'm Fallin' were recorded in 2003 and registered in US Library of Congress on Janury 4, 2004. Which makes the rejects from the "IN THE ZONE" album. It should be noted. They were registered by Michelle Bell, and included on two 12-track demo CDs that possibly include more Britney songs.

Burning Up[edit]

So, not trying to be the annoying person without a source, but Britney's cover of 'Burning Up' by Madonna that she recorded to lip sync to during the Femme Fatale Tour leaked online in a remixed form several months ago. It's definitely legit, the vocal recording being identical to the one she lip synced to during the performance, so the song is out there somewhere. I'm just not sure how you'd go about sourcing it, because nobody's going to admit that Brit was lip syncing to a pre-recorded track. It does exist 100% for sure if anyone can think of a way to source it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.45.74.242 (talk) 23:31, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Found a Billboard source. Xwomanizerx (talk) 00:40, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other songs[edit]

What about Peep show, get it, weakness, mystic man, you were my home, my love was always there and femme fatale demos: i need a change, my first love, red is a colour, insane (circus), love is war, black widow, feet on the ground, sorry adam, etc.? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.114.167.117 (talk) 19:00, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Peep Show is an reject for her fourth album "In The Zone". a snippet leaked and Michelle Bell said that song was never fully recorded.

get it is an reject for her fourth album "In The Zone". the full track leaked

mystic man, you were my home, my love was always there: Are "britney" rejects. Performed live but studio version until now hasn't leaked

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of unreleased ABBA songs which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 19:45, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I'm currently updating the List of songs recorded by Britney Spears with all of her released songs, so since her unreleased songs are technically recorded, should there be a merger between List of songs recorded by Britney Spears and List of unreleased songs recorded by Britney Spears once I finish organizing the list? A lot of lists of recorded songs has a section for unreleased material so it would seem like the two articles should be merged. Javila200084898 (Talk) 7:59, 15 August 2016 (PDT)
