[edit] The article only covers the origin

The LMS was at its most active between 1840 and 1960, yet the only coverage for this period currently (Sept 2007) is the single sentence "the society prevailed and would soon send Christians all over the world." Needs coverage of this period in Africa, Asia, Pacific before it can be regarded as anything more than a starter. Rexparry sydney 04:50, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

There should be a reference somewhere to the very inadequate entry on George Bennett (Missionary) since that is how it is misspelt. It should in fact be Bennet. A search on George Bennet, Daniel Tyerman and London Missionary Society reveals quite a lot of information, and the Bennet/Tyerman book on their travels appears to have been digitised by Google. --MWLittleGuy (talk) 15:20, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
