Thank you, Steinsky for the useful changes that you made. I think I understand the rationale of all of them except two:
- Why delete the refrence to the skittle alley, which is a substantial material feature of the pub in much the same way that the chapel is an important part of the church?
- Why break the link to Temperance Hall, given the importance of the nineteenth century Temperance movement and the significance of such buildings in village life until the 1920s?

- I deleted the link to Temperance Hall because I was unsure whether it was notable enough for an encyclopedia entry, if you believe it is and wish to reinstate the link I will not argue against that.
- As for the pub, I deleted the details because it doesn't seem at all notable enough to be in an encyclopedia--there must be over a thousand pubs in Dorset, possibly hundreds have skittle alleys, it's all pretty much the same. The chapel is apparently unique and has a history, and is therefore notable enough to be in an encyclopedia.
