picture[edit]

Should the current picture be allowed in the infobox? I don't believe the picture should be deleted meerely moved as really its not an actually picture or portrait merely a cartoon (Electrobe 13:34, 1 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]

The picture is a likeness of him.--Toddy1 (talk) 20:22, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article name[edit]

  • 00:42, 25 November 2009 Xdamr moved Lord John Hay (Royal Navy admiral of the fleet) to Lord John Hay (Royal Navy officer)
  • 11:06, 25 November 2009 Necrothesp moved Lord John Hay (Royal Navy officer) to Lord John Hay (Royal Navy admiral of the fleet) over redirect: move back; another Lord John Hay was an RN rear-admiral, hence the expanded description

The reason given by Necrothesp for moving back would seem a compelling one. If someone wants to rename this article in the future, please can they use the procedure for a controversial move.--Toddy1 (talk) 20:22, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
