Vandalism[edit]

86.27.28.147, 68.55.80.58, 86.27.30.119, and 86.27.16.76 have all vandalized either this page or that of Juliana Rose Mauriello so that the entries indicate that the two are having an affair. I'm sure most of these are being done by the same person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.166.249.38 (talkcontribs)

68.55.80.58 comes back to Comcast Baltimore, the rest are non proxies. Simple slip, the user accidentaly didn't use a proxy that time. Make a abuse report with COmcast. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.184.22.228 (talkcontribs)

Welcome to Wikipedia, but this is not a general forum for discussion of the topic. This talk page is for discussion on improving the article. Kat, Queen of Typos 21:21, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dont be so boring. People can say what they like on this discussion page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.194.250.200 (talkcontribs)

No, they can't. Wikipedia policy is that talk pages are for improving the article, not general fan discussion. Otherwise, the talk pages turn into a mess. This is not a forum. I simply and clearly stated the guidelines, and I was not rude. Kat, Queen of Typos 15:04, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
"A talk page is research for the article, and the policies that apply to articles also apply to talk pages." Also, "Keep on topic: Talk pages are not for general conversation. Keep discussions on the topic of how to improve the associated article. Irrelevant discussions are subject to removal." Ok I see the point all you people are making, but no need to be so rude and defensive about it, unsigned and Kat. Rude - unsigned, and defensive - Kat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.141.116.197 (talk) 00:22, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday[edit]

Please cite your sources for Magnus' birthday - it's been changed from Nov. 10th to 11th and even 12th! Kat, Queen of Typos 21:22, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Surname[edit]

It's my vague understanding that Icelandic surnames are more or less descriptive of who the father (Or, in some cases, mother) is. Seeing that Scheving seems to be of Icelandic origin, could somebody find detail on why his surname is unlike typical Icelandic people? Although, his parents, or ancestors may have immigrated, but I haven't found any detail whatsoever. 65.96.103.25 07:15, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some Icelandic families have fixed surnames. Before 1925 Icelandic law allowed people to adopt surnames of their own choice, so Magnús's surname is not necessarily a sign of foreign ancestry. (Apparently it is not correct to refer to Icelanders by only their second names, since in most cases it is not a surname.) See Icelandic name. --GagHalfrunt 18:37, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted the part about him dancing near Big Ben[edit]

This is not true, it was only Julianna Rose Mauriello (Stephanie) dancing, as you can see in these videos from the LazyTown YouTube site: http://youtube.com/watch?v=XCG6bC8nII4

Magnus Eyjolfsson?[edit]

I keep hearing that his name at birth was Magnus Eyjolfsson, but changed it to Scheving in his youth. This has apparently been confirmed by Mani Svarvarsson. Should the article be updated to reflect this? I have joine Wikipedia to help improve articles relating to LazyTown, including this one. Yes, Magnús' birth name Magnús Eyjólfsson. There has been quite a bit of proof this being one. http://reykjaskoli.blog.is/blog/reykjaskoli/entry/569500/

Formatting Error[edit]

Hey fam, there's a formatting error at the beginning of the article. I'd fix it but I don't know how. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:569:75CB:1900:25BD:76BB:6E5F:7E8B (talk) 05:17, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

IP from Stoke-on-Trent[edit]

For the past four months, an IP editor has been making multiple unsourced changes to Magnús' engagement to Hrefna Björk Sverrisdóttir. Sometimes they simply remove the whole sentence. Other times, they remove a portion of the sentence, leaving a nonsensical fragment. Usually, there are no edit summaries. The few that have been given ("Magnus finish with Hrefna", "Magnus dumped her", "Delete lies") are not helpful.

We have a reliable source saying the two were engaged in 2017. The article now says they were engaged in 2017. If they are no longer engaged, we will need a reliable source that says that.

I've warned the IP editor several times on various talk pages, with no response. I'll ask for page protection the next time it happens. - SummerPhDv2.0 00:59, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • There hasn't been anything in the Icelandic media about them breaking up. On his Facebook page they are listed in a relationship and her Facebook profile picture is of her and Magnús together. - Dammit_steve (talk) 09:27, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We now have pending changes protection on the page. Edits made by unregistered or new editors are not seen by readers. The Stoke-on-Trent editor is still trying, but no one sees their edits. - SummerPhDv2.0 01:20, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Legacy?[edit]

Why does this article have a legacy section? As far as I can tell, the subject is living. 216.168.113.98 (talk) 17:47, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Original research, April 1st hoax[edit]
