voluntary organization Lions Club of Mahabubabad[edit]
Lions Club of Mahabubabad was started 15years back. there is no place for cremation of dead bodies in Mahabubabad town having nearly 1.20,000 population. People of Mahabubabad suffered a lot to get the place to cremate the dead bodies since last twenty years.The Lions club has constructed two crematoriums, one in old city another in new city due to which the people of Mahabubabad are very happy . Lions Club is also maintaining ambulance service which was donated by State Bank of Hyderabad, and also a vehicle to transport the dead body to the crematorium. Organized rehabilitation camp in the month of August 2008 for flood victims of Mahabubabad provided food for 300 persons. Organizing several medical checkup camps awareness camps, Lion Kondapally Keshava Rao Advocate motivated the members in construction of crematoriums and also getting the Ambulance from State Bank of Hyderabad
