Merger of Lycoris (company) proposed[edit]

The result was no consensus. -- B. Wolterding 13:05, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

The notability of Lycoris (company) has been questioned. In fact, since Lycoris was merged with Mandrake to form Mandriva, it might be best to merge the historical content into here. If you agree with this proposal, just go ahead and execute the merger.

Proposed as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 16:42, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, I don't really agree. Althought Lycoris was merged into Mandriva, they are different things. Lycoris has a different history, and I think it deserves its own page. boklm 20:15, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Then secondary sources should be found in order to establish the notability of Lycoris. Currently none are given. If Lycoris is not notable by itself, it may still be notable enough for a "history" section in the Mandriva article. --B. Wolterding 20:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, user 80.163.26.74 (talk · contribs), for this information. I've fixed the first few links (and marked them (fixed) above), though I used different URLs in 2 cases. The rest can wait for another day. Cheers, CWC 17:55, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Controversy[edit]

What is going on with this section? I don't think this is appropriate. Where's the prose? We have editors simply adding external links to the body of the article. This is not encyclopedic.

Please write something and use these external links as references. Although I am not a regular on this article, I will clean up this section in time if no action is taken. E_dog95' Hi ' 18:34, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
