This article does look as if it might be a hoax at first, but the external link seems to confirm some of it. Also some unlikely sounding names in the article seem to be genuine. PatGallacher 01:39, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for not explaining the tag. This article is another one from the series of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Principality of Estland created by a puppet master User:Mister_X The only reason the article is not listed for deletion , the person existed in reality although the article about her is a hoaxy nonsense. The "Maria of Livonia" refers to "Maria titular queen of Livonia" [1] therefore unless anybody wants to use this derogatory title for the article on WP, it should be rewritten from scratch. Therefore I'm restoring the tag for now until I can get a chance and set things right with this article. I'm not suspicious about anything but was hoping the facts I pointed out should speak for themselves. And I don't think it's worth for me to start reverting the personal websites that you restored to the article. These are WP:OR-s at best that shouldn't be included on WP. If you think it is a priority story I'll have it fixed up over the weekend. In case you'd like to help out, please type "Maria titular queen of Livonia" [2]("Maria of Livonia" in quotes wouldn't give you any results.[3]) into google books and use any of the books for ref and see if any of the facts could be used to fix up this article. PS. In case anything wasn't clear enough, I'm spelling it out. She was no queen of anything. She was a toy in the hands of Ivan IV who gave her the title during Livonian war. Such state never existed in reality like Kingdom of Livonia. after Ivan IV didn't have any more use for her he sent her to a monastery. thats the story, now lets think how we can make it encyclopedical. thanks--Termer 00:06, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

a content dispute? and a political one? I guess you can't get around politics once a troll makes articles on WP about non existent countries and their rulers. Like this one here is about a queen of a nonexistent kingdom. But it's not worth it that I'd be willing to get into a silly content dispute over this one here. Therefore, since you've taken the initiative into your own hands by removing the tag, please consider finding proper references and sources by yourself for the title and the content of this article instead of relying on external links from questionable sources.

PS. Hey Johnbod, just noticed that your additions to the article were more or less exactly what I had in mind so, I wouldn't have had any reasons to bookmark this article with a tag again anyway. I'd suggest renaming the article Maria of Staritsa that is factual and tell her story regarding the given-taken title in the article and ref the facts directly to Heraldry of the Royal Families of Europe ISBN 0756773644 instead of using those personal web sites.
