Opinions on Mark Dean near the end[edit]

While I, an electrical engineer, can understand the significance of his contributions to society, the end of this article (all about not forgetting his legacy and making sure we attribute him etc.) is entirely opinion and implies the reader should feel a certain way, where the job of an encyclopedia is to present only the facts. If someone wants to word this differently, then okay, but otherwise if there are no objections I will delete what amounts to someone's agenda soon. Thoughts appreciated. no it's not becuase he is black... martin luthor king has much more information than some white people. it's probably because everyone is too lazy or dont know much about him--99.178.202.142 (talk) 17:48, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

PC Patents? Really?[edit]

What are these "patents" on the IBM PC ? This [1] sums up the argument that there were no IBM PC-specific patents. --Wtshymanski (talk) 20:37, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

This list [2] doesn't show any patents prior to 1981 when the PC was introduced. --Wtshymanski (talk) 20:53, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Reddit interview[edit]

There's a good deal of personal information available here: http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/g5rqg/my_name_is_mark_dean_i_am_a_fellow_at_ibm_hold_22/ , though you'd have to check how it was verified to ensure it's him for certain.
