This page is intended to give an overview of the marking out process. It's easy (as I've found) to get bogged down in specifics so keep in mind that it is intended as a jumping off point to other areas, so I'd suggest; keep it brief but link liberally ;-) It is however, an essential process that is often taken for granted so it would be good to see other fields or occupations add their input.
