I don't really see why this should be a Mexican biographical article. This man (Martín Cortés) was born and died as a spaniard, as Mexico did not exist as a country in the 16th century, and therefore I believe this article should only be considered a Spanish biographical stub. Labeling this as "Mexican" would be like labeling an article on a Spanish Emperor as a "Roman biographical article", as Spain was, at some point of human history, a province of the Roman Empire, and I'm sure everybody would recognize that as senseless. Strictly speaking, this article should be re-named "Martín Cortés y Ramirez" to distinguish him from his brother Martín Cortés (Mestizo). Tarlneustaedter (talk) 06:24, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
