[edit] Matoran start

Like how did the matoran start and why do Voya Nui matoran have powers and weapons unlike mata nui matoran or Metru Nui!!!! I think it has something to do with the karanazi!

The Talk pages are for discussions about the editing of articles. If you want questions answered, first you should try looking at all relevant articles - for instance, if you think it has something to do with Karzahni, look at the Karzahni article. If Wikipedia does not have the information you're looking for, try an external link; several Bionicle articles link to the Bionicle Sector 01 wiki, a wiki that deals exclusively with Bionicle info. In any case, please don't clutter up the Talk pages with questions like this. Drakhan 23:26, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

Hey drakhan ! Its the TOA OF SOUND!! the matoran were sent to the Karanahzi for repairs. Since it is not that good with repairs it gave them powers to help them since they were weak and replaced some parts with anthing it could find!

[edit] Re-redirecting

I noticed that the page kodan was set to redirect here. I just wanted to let you know that I have moved it to redirect now to kōdan, a form of traditional Japanese storytelling. Since the main topic of this page is Matoran and not kodan, I am hoping you won't mind. Thought it would be the polite thing to let you know what I've done and not to simply pull it off in the dark of the night. LordAmeth 11:22, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] species

Matoran are one specie, like Sidorak, Roodaka, Krekka and The Shadowed One people? Antidermis2319 19:59, 20 July 2006 (UTC) yes 24.70.95.203

No. There are many species. Here are all of the (natrually occuring) (sentient) species that I know about:

Matoran

Vortixx (Roodoka)

Makuta

Sidorak's species

Skakdi (The Piraka)

[edit] Picture editing

I've recently been cropping some of the pictures, trimming off a lot of extra background; but for some reason the Nuparu picture doesn't look right. The new version of the picture won't show up for me; it instead appears like a flattened version of the old picture. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm also considering how to crop the images in the Types section. Should I trim the throwing disks off, or try to leave them in? Drakhan 17:16, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Av-Matoran

Greg Fharstey has stated that the Matoran of Light are to be reffered to as Av-Matoran, after the Kanohi Avohkii, the Mask of Light.

Well, I deleted it earlier because it hadn't been posted on BZPower when I checked. But I see it there now, so I'll change it back. Drakhan 15:43, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ihu

Why does Ihu redirect here? There is no reference to Ihu in the article, and Ihu is the name of a town in the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea Aliasd 07:37, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

It probably needs to be changed to List of Matoran#Ihu - or, rather, make a disambiguation page that says there are two Ihus, a Matoran and a Gulf province. Drakhan 14:51, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
I am happy to make a disambiguation page, now I have some context as to what Ihu means to you Aliasd 01:24, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] BZPower IS reliable.

Look people, listen to me for once.

  • Greg Farshtey, writer of the Bionicle books, comics, and more is a active member of BZPower who awnsers members questions and gives them new info.
  • The webmaster of Bionicle.com is a member and former admin on BZP.
  • They have new news stories every day.
  • Look at this. Members are getting offended and pissed off. Is that the kind of exposure you guys want? There is a member sticking up for Wikipedia, though. -Karaku (talk) 17:21, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
No, I've given up hope on this site myself. --BS01Swert (Talk) 07:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Everything Karaku has said are true. BZPower is one of the most reliable sources for anything Bionicle because of their direct link to the LEGO company, especially the people who created the Bionicle universe. If confirmation is needed, Google can be used to help confirm evidence. Lhikan634 (talk) 02:32, 16 September 2008 (UTC) Find sources: "Matoran"search, news, books, scholar, images
