World Records[edit]

The dates of at least two of the world records listed in this article were wrong, this is because many of the lists available on the internet are inaccurate. This article provides the correct dates for most, but not all, of Jarvinen's world records. Note that the Turin world record, originally listed here as 1933, was broken at the 1934 European Championships in Athletics. I mention this here in case my changes get reverted citing the popular, but inaccurate, lists here and here. Rje (talk) 15:46, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
