Muhammad Ilyas al-KandhlawiMaulana IlyasMaulana is an honorific but most of the sources use it. I believe he is more commonly known with this honorific. Relisted for further input. Jafeluv (talk) 08:03, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You can see this, this, this. Some other sources refer to him as "Maulana Muhammad Ilyas". —  Hamza  [ talk ] 07:14, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree. I believe current redirect is proper way. We can add disambiguation later if required. Maulana Ilyas is generic. ≈ Prometheus  «talk» 10:58, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

POV

[edit]

As I often chastise others for tagging articles without discussion, I would be remiss if I didn't post here myself; this article is highly POV to the point where it borders on hagiography. I know very little about this person; if anyone could help clean up this article it would be appreciated. Joefromrandb (talk) 04:24, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removing POV parts, its been two years since the taggng

[edit]

It has been two and half years since this got tagged with extreme, almost hagiographic POV. I am now removing the POV sections. If any sources exist for this information please be kind enough to add it to the article and remove the peacock from the basket before unloading.
