What's with the references to publications that look like image captions? Is this from some book? If the material is copyrighted, do you have permission to reprint it?

- That's a good start, but more clarity is needed in terms of to what region that first table is referring. Also, I would be loathe to include a tourist booklet, especially one from 1984, as a primary source for the Chichen Itza ceramics. I believe many of those dates have been revised (pushed back a bit), as well as the categories (Maya-Toltec, for instance). If we could stand to find a more recent source (even the Sharer tome would be good), that would be super-cool.

- thanks, the tourist book i added as something most likely most simplified and seen the most, at least in one point in time. how the other timetable fits into a perception of how to see the whole Maya civilization at glance, i have no idea. ok back to studying the Ancrene Wisse article.
