i think this is a great article. Why is the public not allowed to see this? There is nothing wrong with it since that information came from a veteran soldier that was there in the McNair Barrcaks in Berlin germany. I hope that you realize that i could not find any information like the information under McNair Barracks that i wrote. If i was considered a gensuis and was offered AP classes by a university who are you to say that the information is invaild. It came from the mcnairbarracks werbaite and form a veteran of the cold war that i know very well. I hope you understand that i want people to know what history textbooks leave out. I just visited the Barracks (Sat, 07 June, 2008)and the info here is correct. I can add some more details ... I spoke at length the custodian in the museum. This is my first Wiki input. I have digital pics that I took. Ooops ... "El Chinero"

The way this page is worded make's it sound like a high school book report, someone really needs to rewrite this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.198.12.3 (talk) 17:52, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

the race riot of winter 1970[edit]

i was stationed at mc nair barracks from spring 1969-march 1970; hq & hq co 4th bn 18th infantry (S-4) in march of 1970 i received orders to viet nam and left berlin that month-when i arrived in viet nam in may 1970 i encountered former members of my old unit (4th bn 18th inf) who had informed me of a full scale racial riot involving soldiers from my unit and military police-this, i was told led to multiple reassignments both voluntary and involuntary- i would appreciate an honest and accurate report of what really happened and who was involved and what the resulting legal action against the instigators was taken- LEON L TALPALAR ALTAMONTE SPRINGS FLA CELL 727.768.4936- who is in charge of the annual reunion on the 4th of july? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.137.87 (talk) 00:13, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
