Im not sure why this page falls under speedy deletion.

Why is this person notable, see WP:BIO and WP:N, just having a PhD or being a professor is not enough for inclusion in wikipedia. Also, please sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). Thanks, Cabe6403 (TalkSign) 14:39, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the speedy deletion template, as the article does indicate importance of the subject. However I don't know whether it meets the guidelines - it could still be deleted via proposed deletion or Articles for deletion. The main problem is lack of independent references, so I've added a {{primary sources}} template. —Snigbrook 14:44, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
