Menu keyContext menu key — That's what it is. "Context menu" is not the same thing as "menu". We have no sources to support "menu key" anyway. Thank you. 205.228.108.185 (talk) 08:40, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Uhm... we do actually have a couple of weak references, and I could not find any RS for "Context menu key". I'm going to leave the request anyway, just to have a third opinion. Thanks. 205.228.108.185 (talk) 08:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I'm still waiting for the second opinion. =) Powers T 13:51, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
 :-)
Opinion1 = the status quo, which has some sort of reference to back it up
Opinion2 = my opinion. Context menu is very different from menu. In Windows it's actually the "Alt" key that allows you to access the menu. 205.228.108.185 (talk) 03:08, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

The official name seems to be "Application key", but I doubt anyone calls it that in normal conversation. "Context menu key" is more accurate but doesn't seem to be in wide use. So I'm going to have to stick with the status quo for the time being. Powers T 13:37, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

How to disable this key from opening the context menu?!? Similar to what http://support.microsoft.com/?id=216893 does to the windows key... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.66.185.202 (talk) 13:02, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

ghacks.net - The Ultimate Guide to Keyboard Remapping You should be able to use one of the tools here to turn off this key, or make it do something else --70.181.20.195 (talk) 02:23, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
