Edits[edit]

I felt that this was a bit confusing sometimes about whether there are two institutions or what - it tried to have its cake and eat it a bit much, it seemed. I have tried to clarify this a little and hope it helps. Also please note that the QMW name is these days not used much. This bit: "Despite the obvious difference in student numbers between the two sides," is surely crying out for someone to tell us what the numbers are! It says it's obvious but we don't know and it doesn't tell us - is the medical school half the size of the rest of QMUL, or a tenth, or what?? Queen Mary has roughly 10 times the number of students. I have added the number values with references to the article. -Iscariot (talk) 17:34, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Results[edit]

The (2nd) most recent edit about the results, which I have just undone, totally flips the sense of the sentence. Is there a ref for this please? In addition, the edit was in any case a bit of a mess, in that its dangling participle made it a bit difficult to follow anyway. If it's to be rewritten please either get it very clear what is meant, or discuss it in here. And, as I say, a ref would help a great deal. Without any external information I find it a bit tempting to join the tendency wondering if it is, or should be, below the encyclopaedia's radar. Thanks and best wishes DisillusionedBitterAndKnackered (talk) 22:12, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
