Question[edit]

all i want to know is hen the metro station was built and why and what was there before i need it for a school coarsework.......please help

If you could phrase your question correctly, then maybe we can help. If not, then your coursework has far more problems than knowing when "the metro station" was built. --Golbez 18:52, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Metro Station is a redirect to Metro Station (band). It looks like the band article should be moved as the disambiguation isn't necessary, or the redirect should be changed to link to Metro station. Discussion is at Talk:Metro Station (band)#Requested move. snigbrook (talk) 22:43, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

pictures need trimming[edit]

23 pictures for a couple of paragraphs is extremely unnecessary. There are only so many times you can show a metro station, even if you are showing unique things.--Crossmr (talk) 14:57, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Gallery trimmed, and pictures shuffled, and the article looks a lot more elegant now. SchuminWeb (Talk) 18:45, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
100x better. I know people like to take pictures and all but we need to be reasonable with them.--Crossmr (talk) 00:16, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Astoria[edit]

In Budapest, there is a metro station called Astoria that is interesting for its construction. I have no source to prove this information, but this station seems to be a combination of pylon and deep-column stations. I think it would be a good example for construction types as a combination of two of them. CERBERUS - ii iv iii (talk) 20:16, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Single Vault Station[edit]

Is the NYC 168th Street Station for the 1 train not the first single vault station. Built in 1906. This page says the first station was built in 1975. 100.12.65.90 (talk) 21:46, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
