Banned for corruption[edit]

Surely there should be some mention of the fact that Mr Tabor was 'warned off' that is " Michael Barry Tabor be henceforth excluded from all racecourses licensed by the Jockey Club". The allegation that the jockey club found to be true, was that he had paid jockeys for information. The ban was originally a lifetime one, and, the request by Mr Tabor made in 1971, for the 'withdrawal of disabilities' was denied. The ban was not lifted until 1973. To not include such pertinent information is a serious ommission it seems to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sloggingpigeons (talkcontribs) 09:00, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In June 1970 it was alleged that during the 1968/69 jumps season Tabor paid jockeys Duncan Hughes and Tom Jennings for tips. The ban was lifted in 1973.

Information is harder to get thanks to the right to be forgotten. Is this a good source https://www.thefreelibrary.com/The+Ashforth+Profile%3A+From+private+person+to+public+figure%3B+Michael...-a064764923 (78.16.138.227 (talk) 20:07, 9 May 2023 (UTC))[reply]

@User:Sloggingpigeons User Muttley K removed the info in November 2019. The edit description was "irrelevant and incorrect information" and marked as a minor edit. The user has also edited Michael Tabor's daughter Ashley a lot and Global Media & Entertainment which means it is likely the user knows Michael Tabor.
