Name[edit]

What is the official name of this game? The game cover says that the name is Might and Magic: Book One. Where does the The Secret of the Inner Sanctum title come from? --Mika1h 17:56, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's on the in-game title screens and the documentation. I think the title of the game, and hence what should be the title of this article, is "Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum". BreathingMeat 19:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spoiler tags[edit]

By the way Mika1h, why did you remove the spoiler tags? If the games are played in order, Sheltem is unknown to the player until near the end of the first game. In fact, learning about Sheltem is the aim of one of the final quests in the game. BreathingMeat 19:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In the off chance some one working on this wiki , or a fellow passerby happens to know..[edit]

I'd just like to ask.. At the end of the NES version, a rather long comnplex code is given on reaching the "gates to another world"..What on earth is this for? 216.46.213.204 05:06, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hah, I have the answer to a question on it's two year anniversary....two versions of Might & Magic II were made for SNES. The more well known one is based on the Genesis version which was based on the original computer releases - it was released in Europe. But slightly before this, a Japanese edition of the game was made - apparently by the same company who made the NES port of the first game, and featuring some notable changes in line with the changes made to the NES port (such as no character creation). It's based on roughly the same data as Might & Magic II (same maps, events, etcetera), but features all new graphics, music, enemy stats and so on. This version was never released outside of Japan. I don't have it handy, but I believe you can input a password from the NES game into it (for what, I don't know). 71.193.206.116 (talk) 06:40, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

who's corak ?[edit]

the page says "heroes discover information about Corak's hunt for the missing villain", but never mentions "corak" again or before that --Richlv (talk) 15:50, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
