GA Nomination passed
I am listing the article under the GA list as it clearly meets all aspects of the good article criteria. This article is approaching Feature quality in the future; one thing to consider is that there are several rather short sections; while these will pass the "broad" requirement for GA, these will not stand under the stricter "comprehensive" requirement of FA. But over all, the article is top notch, and people who have worked on it should be proud! --Jayron32|talk|contribs 05:34, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent thanks; I am glad to see that the hard work paid off. I am not too concerned about the shorter of sections at the moment because I think I have the ideal book, yet I cannot seem to find it now (Sod's law!). But yes, these sections will need to be extensively expanded before any future developments.
- It's a fairly recent article and most sections seem to be reasonably intact. Anyhow, thanks again. Chris.B 09:44, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
I still miss information on the development of the groundtroops, AA staff and naval strength on Gibraltar, especially during the crucial period at the beginning of the war until the Fall of France, while the danger of a Spanish-German invasion was looming.
Image copyright problem with File:LeO 451.jpg
The image File:LeO 451.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.

On looking through this article its seems odd that Force H is only mentioned in the lede and that there is almost no mention of what 202 Squadron actually did during WWII. A section on offensive operations based from Gibraltar or something similar looks necessary. Mikenorton (talk) 00:32, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
