Welcome to interested editors[edit]

Being an amateur in the field I recognize the fact that experts are needed in the development of this article. While telescope optics are an endless fascination for most of us amateur telescope makers many of us are deficient in understanding the parts of the telescope which hold the optics together. This specific area of encyclopedic endeavor appears to be lacking in most of the other articles about telescopes.
