Broadcasters[edit]

Are you completely sure about the networks that broascast MU? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.252.40.133 (talk) 01:32, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

Please stop reverting my edits which added reliable sources to each of the contestants' participation in the contest. The Times of Beauty, Missossology, and similar websites are great and all, but they are not reliable. Consider this: for months prior to the Miss Universe contests, these sites have said contradicting things that led to numerous false edits on this page. Forums and blogs are also automatically unreliable because of bias. This immediately puts the veracity of their articles in doubt. We must refrain from using them as sources. I will continue with contestants after Montenegro soon.

As for the heights which I removed along with my edits, I explained that because they were not mentioned on the official MU site, nor were they mentioned in most of the reliable sources, they were not needed. Neither are they on articles for previous Miss Universe contests. By the way, if you want to put the heights back in the article, by all means go ahead but ONLY if you find a source for each of them. The heights so far have attracted some unbacked edits, which we want to avoid.

I'm sure we all want the Wikipedia pages for Miss Universe to be factual and unbiased, and a good source for anyone needing information on them. Thanks for your cooperation.Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 04:01, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Order of announcements[edit]

Airon2 (talk) 09:41, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, is this really necessary though? The order of announcements means nothing, they always make sure they say that the announcement is made in no particular order. Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 05:35, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Prelim judge's name linked to wrong Wikipedia entry[edit]

The Wikipedia entry that is linked to Carlos Anaya's name is for a former president of Uruguay who lived from 1777-1862. Please edit the entry to unlink the 2 Carlos Anayas. Thank You. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.9.88.75 (talk) 01:55, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update needed for Claudia Jordan listing under Judges[edit]

Claudia Jordan also held the title of Miss Rhode Island USA 1997. Please add that notation to her listing in the Judges' section. Thank You. --BoSoxFan73 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.9.88.75 (talk) 00:01, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Scores were NEVER RELEASED[edit]

Whoever is adding these fake scores needs to stop. I've already requested page protection for this article again. MUO has never released the scores for MU 2011 nor the same for 2012. GrayFullbuster (talk) 00:57, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Judges section restored[edit]

I have restored the judges section content (diff). The content is directly relevant, significant and of importance relative to the article's topic, and its omission reduces the quality of the article. North America1000 01:42, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 9 November 2023[edit]

I want to correct the fact that Marie Payet is the second not the first runner up of Miss France 2012. Check her Wikipedia page out. The first runner up is Mathilde Couly from Pays de la Loire. The crowning of Delphine Wespiser (the winner) is available on the official YouTube channel of the Miss France organisation as well on Facebook. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geeko972 (talkcontribs) 09:45, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
