Photo + updated bio[edit]

I have added a photo in commons and used it here as well as in the French and Japanese page. I got permission directly from Ms. Meyerson and forwarded it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

Ms. Meyerson drew my attention on the fact that this profile is outdated with respect to the one on her website. On wikipedia one cannot re-use a text as it is but has to reformulate it to avoid copyright problems. I'm not mother tongue, could somebody have a look at Ms. Meyerson website and update her profile here?

Thanks in advance. --Mahlerite (talk) 08:27, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright concerns - Now addressed[edit]

This article was flagged for copyright concerns in December 2012. Investigation shows that it was substantially taken at creation in 2007 from the original biography pages. See here for more information. Although the investigation period is long since passed, I am extending the listing as the creator of the article was not notified, as required, for comment. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:46, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am in contact directly with Ms Meyerson. She sent me large part of the text, the photo... whatelse one should do? This is not a copyright violation! --Mahlerite (talk) 21:12, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you write to user:Moonriddengirl above: she is very pleasant and helpful and will certainly assist. I can't do anything (apart from translating - I'm fluent in French - but your English is very good) as I'm not in contact with Ms Meyerson. Nick Michael (talk) 22:09, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see that the source now has a proper license. Thanks. See also 2013020210004982, although it largely makes the same point.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 16:24, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
