Bristol Post news article: ^[1]

They won the RIC Energy Efficiency 1997 for the green design of the building;^[2] however it was later questioned about it being environmentally friendly due to large number of employees who travel there by car.^[3]

Cost £254million and formally opened by queen in July 1996. Biggest relocation of British departments bringing together 15 offices (4,400 staff). 98 acre site surrounded by lake for security. Strategic planner: DEGW. Architect: Percy Thomas Partnership. Based on a neighbourhood design.^[4]

Change Title[edit]
