Notability[edit]

I'm trying to describe in this article an application, Mocolo, wich is similar to other commercial applications linked in the Open Sound Control article. The application is intended to be a sort of a "brick" in the construction of interactive digital environments - it has been used with Max/MSP and vvvv, for instance: both of them are commercial applications documented in Wikipedia. I'd like to let people know about this application I wrote, but I don't wand to use Wikipedia as an advertisement place: I copied the structure of the article from the Isadora article; my thought was "If it's ok for Isadora I suppose it will be ok for Mocolo too". Maybe I need to re-think this article - any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks. Orf Quarenghi

I changed it from speedy delete to prod, so it will be reviewed now. If you can add how it is notable, I will remove the template. Smartyllama (talk) 21:42, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I modified the article. Added the key features (maybe these make the application notable, I don't know), added a link to a group of artists which uses Mocolo in their projects. I also changed the starting description, which sounded quite like an ad. Orf Quarenghi 9:44, 29 April 2008

That may or may not make it notable. Let an admin decide. Smartyllama (talk) 19:08, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks. Orf Quarenghi 8:38, 30 April 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Orf Quarenghi (talkcontribs)

Oops, I changed the article but forgot to remove the delete proposal message - I understood I may do that after editing, or else the article will be removed at the end of the 5 days period. I remove it now [hoping I'm doing the right thing]. Orf Quarenghi (talk) 16:45, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you were right in doing that. If anyone else proposes it for deletion, a discussion will be required. Smartyllama (talk) 15:46, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
